UditVani, New Delhi: Anahat Singh triumphed over Malika Elkaraksy of Egypt to win the Under-17 title at the British Junior Open squash tournament held in Birmingham.
The 16-year-old Indian squash player rallied to beat Elkaraksy 3-2 in a thrilling match, securing her third British Junior Open title.
Anahat previously won the title in 2019 and 2023.
This victory extends Anahat’s impressive winning streak into the new year. In 2024, she clinched nine Professional Squash Association (PSA) Challenger titles, more than any other woman.
