Uditvani: In a landmark move towards inclusive development, Atypical Advantage, founded by Vineet Saraiwalla from Jamshedpur, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Maharashtra to establish India’s first exclusive ITI skilling centre for persons with disabilities.
The initiative is being implemented in collaboration with Project Mumbai and aims to empower persons with disabilities through dedicated skill development and vocational training.
The MoU was exchanged on Tuesday in the presence of Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, deputy chief ministers Ajit Pawar and Eknath Shinde, and minister for skilling Mangal Prabhat Lodha, along with several cabinet ministers.
“This is a significant step in scaling impact by collaborating with the government. We hope Atypical Advantage continues to work closely with governments across the country,” said Saraiwalla.
The ITI centre is set to become a pioneering hub for skilling and employment for persons with disabilities, signaling a major shift towards inclusive workforce development in India.
