UditVani Jamshedpur: The Tata Steel team emerged victorious in the Steel Plant Sports Board (SPSB) Football Tournament, which concluded at Burnpur on Saturday.
In the final match, Tata Steel delivered an outstanding performance, defeating SAIL Bokaro by a convincing margin of 5-0.
Prior to reaching the finals, the Tata Steel team showcased their dominance by defeating teams from Bhilai Steel Plant, Rourkela Steel Plant, and Durgapur Steel Plant.
In the final showdown, Ranjit Mardi shone brightly, scoring three goals, while Rajaram Mardi and Ghanshyam contributed one goal each to secure the win.
The team’s coach, Yogesh Sharma, and manager, Baiju Pandit, were present to support and guide the players throughout the tournament.
