Tarun Huria, a 1993-batch officer of the Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers, brings nearly three decades of extensive experience in the railways sector. He joined Indian Railways in March 1995 and has since held several important roles throughout his career.

Before assuming the role of DRM at Chakradharpur, Huria served as the Chief Workshop Engineer and Chief Planning Engineer at East Coast Railway. His career spans several significant positions, including Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer at Konkan Railway, Chief Rolling Stock Engineer (Coaching) at Western Railway, and Chief Workshop Manager at Lower Parel Railway Workshop. He has been a pivotal figure in the development and modernization of railway operations.

Huria has also made valuable contributions during his tenure with the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi, where he successfully managed several large infrastructure projects.
