UditVani, Jamshedpur : Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum, Karn Satyarthi, inspected the under-construction Jamshedpur Haat Palash Mart at Sakchi, being developed to showcase and sell products made by local artisans.
During the inspection, he directed the executing agency to complete the remaining construction work within 10 days, while ensuring quality standards.
The Palash Mart is being developed on the initiative of the district administration to provide a permanent marketplace for rural handicrafts and other locally produced goods, making it easier for artisans to display and sell their products directly to customers.
The Deputy Commissioner also instructed the Deputy Development Commissioner to constitute a committee for shop allotment, operation, and maintenance of the mart.
Deputy Development Commissioner Nagendra Paswan, Deputy Municipal Commissioner (JNAC) Krishna Kumar, DPM JSLPS Sujit Bari, and other officials were present during the inspection.
