UditVani, Jamshedpur: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Jharkhand will organise a high-level session titled “Jharkhand @25: Looking Forward to 2050” at 11:30 am tomorrow , March 10 at The Alcor Hotel in Bistupur.
The event aims to bring together key stakeholders to reflect on the state’s development journey over the past 25 years and chart a strategic vision for the decades ahead.
The session is envisioned as a forward-looking dialogue that will examine Jharkhand’s progress since its formation while outlining pathways for building a resilient, competitive and inclusive economy by 2050. Leaders from industry, government and policy circles are expected to deliberate on future-ready growth models, supportive policy frameworks and collaborative partnerships that can accelerate the state’s transformation.
A major focus of the discussion will be on redefining development strategies for resource-rich and industrial states like Jharkhand in the context of rapidly evolving global and national economic paradigms.
Participants will explore how the state can move beyond traditional industrialisation towards next-generation growth models that integrate green manufacturing, circular economy practices and digital technologies.
The session will also highlight the importance of ensuring that indigenous and local communities become active partners in the state’s long-term development journey.
Discussions will emphasise inclusive and equitable growth, with policies that safeguard livelihoods while enabling sustainable economic expansion.
Moreover, the programme aims to deepen engagement between industry, government institutions and global stakeholders, fostering strategic partnerships that can support Jharkhand’s economic transformation over the next 25 years.
Through this dialogue, CII Jharkhand hopes to contribute to shaping a shared vision for the state—one that leverages its rich natural resources, industrial legacy and human capital to emerge as a leading hub of sustainable and innovation-driven growth by 2050.
