UditVani, Jamshedpur : TRF Limited, a Tata Group company, took a pioneering step in women’s healthcare by organizing a special health camp under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare’s nationwide campaign, ‘Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivaar Abhiyaan.’
The initiative, running from September 17 to October 2, 2025, focuses on prioritizing women’s health as the foundation of strong families and communities.
In alignment with the directive of the Chief Inspector of Factories, Jharkhand, TRF held the camp at its factory and township premises, offering comprehensive medical check-ups for 30 female contractor employees.
The screenings emphasized awareness and early detection of conditions such as anemia, breast cancer, gynecological issues, and heart ailments — health challenges that often remain neglected.
The program began with a lamp-lighting ceremony, symbolizing a collective commitment to women’s well-being.
Chief Guest Rupa Paul, Officer-in-Charge of Sakchi Mahila Police Station, lauded the effort, highlighting the significance of corporate and community collaboration in safeguarding women’s health.
TRF’s leadership, including Chief Human Resources Officer Abhijeet Singh, senior management, TRF Labour Union representatives, and experts from the Administration and Medical Department, actively participated in ensuring the camp’s success.
“This camp is more than a health check-up; it is our pledge to stand by our women workforce. Their well-being strengthens families and drives progress,” said Singh.
By turning awareness into action, TRF reaffirmed its commitment to building a healthier, empowered, and resilient workforce — setting a benchmark for industry-driven social responsibility.
