
UditVani, Jamshedpur : As part of the Founder’s Day celebrations themed “One Vision, One Tata Steel,” the organisation celebrated a year of sporting excellence by honouring winners of its Inter-Divisional (ID) sports competitions during the Founder’s Day sports ceremony in Jamshedpur.
The awards recognised the spirit of teamwork, fitness, and healthy competition that employees across divisions have demonstrated through various sports events conducted throughout the year. The commemorative ceremony on Founder’s Day brought together employees and leadership to celebrate these achievements.

The event was attended by the T V Narendran, CEO & Managing Director of Tata Steel, along with senior leaders including D B Sundara Ramam, Vice President Corporate Services, Tata Steel, Probal Ghosh, Vice President, Asset and Energy Management, Tata Steel, Chaitanya Bhanu,Vice President Operations Tata Steel Jamshedpur, Sandeep Kumar, Vice President Raw Materials, Tata Steel, members of the Tata Workers’ Union, and other company officials. The ceremony also saw several leaders present awards to the winning teams and athletes.

The Founder’s Day sports programme featured several engaging activities including a Corporate Relay, Tug of War, March Past, and fun skill events such as basketball dribbling, table-tennis ball dribbling, arrow shooting, and ball badminton, culminating in a prize distribution ceremony.
The celebration reflected the company’s enduring commitment to promoting sports, teamwork, and employee wellbeing—values deeply embedded in the culture of Tata Steel and aligned with this year’s Founder’s Day theme, “One Vision, One Tata Steel.”
