
UditVani, Jamshedpur : In a significant move impacting rail passengers, the South Eastern Railway (SER) has announced a series of temporary train cancellations, short terminations, and route diversions through the Chakradharpur railway division.
The changes, spanning from October 11, 2025 to January 20, 2026, will affect 16 trains, including popular long-distance and passenger services, causing likely disruptions to travel plans during the busy festive and winter seasons.

Route Diversions
Utkal Express (18478/18477) — The Yog Nagari Rishikesh–Puri and Puri–Rishikesh services will be diverted via Jharsuguda–Sambalpur City–Cuttack, bypassing Tatanagar.
13288 Ara–Durg South Bihar Express — On specific days, the train will run via Kandra and Sini instead of Tatanagar.
