
UditVani, Jamshedpur : Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Monday paid floral tributes to the martyrs of Serengsia and addressed a programme marking martyr homage, project inauguration and asset distribution.
He laid the foundation stone and inaugurated 197 development schemes worth Rs 398.19 crore and distributed assets worth Rs 637.43 crore among over 3.77 lakh beneficiaries.

Appointment letters were also handed over to 1,479 youths.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said honouring martyrs is an integral part of Jharkhand’s tradition and recalled the sacrifices of tribal heroes who fought British rule to protect identity and natural resources.
He said the state is progressing rapidly on all fronts, with a focus on social, economic and educational empowerment, especially of women and youth.
