The situation has prompted the district administration to remain on high alert and issue precautionary advisories for people residing in low-lying and riverbank areas.
Authorities have appealed to the public to avoid venturing near riverbanks to prevent any untoward incidents.
Residents of flood-prone zones have been urged to move to safer, elevated areas as a preventive measure.

The district administration has also activated monitoring systems and is coordinating with disaster management teams to ensure swift response in case of emergency situations.
