UditVani, Jamshedpur: Due to continuous rainfall in East Singhbhum district, the water levels of the Subernarekha and Kharkai rivers have risen above the danger mark.
The situation has prompted the district administration to remain on high alert and issue precautionary advisories for people residing in low-lying and riverbank areas.
Authorities have appealed to the public to avoid venturing near riverbanks to prevent any untoward incidents.
Residents of flood-prone zones have been urged to move to safer, elevated areas as a preventive measure.
