Jamshedpur : Bank of India’s main branch in Bistupur organized a Coin Distribution and Note Exchange Fair on Thursday.
The event aimed to provide easy access to coins for the general public and to facilitate the smooth exchange of old or damaged currency notes.
Rajat Kumari Tigga, the chief manager of the branch, stated that the bank prioritizes such initiatives from time to time to enhance customer convenience and to ensure transparent and efficient cash management.
The event was also attended by senior manager Ramesh Ranjak and Joint Custodian Shyam Pad Das.
They encouraged the public to use coins confidently and emphasized that there should be no misconceptions regarding the legality of coins.
A large number of local traders, customers, and general public participated in the fair and took advantage of the opportunity to exchange various denominations of coins and notes.
Bank officials mentioned that such fairs would continue to be organized in the future to further serve the public.
The event concluded successfully and was well appreciated by the attendees.
