
UditVani, Jamshedpur: The much-awaited ballet musical “Naughty” unfolded on Saturday morning with grace, colour, and artistic brilliance as young performers brought Roald Dahl’s beloved tale Matilda to life at the Fasy Auditorium of Loyola School, Bistupur.
Staged at 10 am, the production proved to be a captivating fusion of dance, drama, and music -delivering a memorable theatrical experience to a packed audience.
Directed, choreographed, coached, and produced by the gifted duo Ashwin and Camille Sahay, with an evocative stage design crafted by Tanvi Shah, Naughty stood out as a celebration of creativity, discipline, and youthful energy.
The performance showcased months of rigorous training, as the students of Ashwin and Camille demonstrated exceptional commitment and artistry.

The ballet musical was a visual treat, featuring elaborate choreography, expressive storytelling, vibrant lighting, and charismatic performances that captured the essence of curiosity, courage, and the triumph of imagination.
Every element -right from props to backdrops -as painstakingly created by the participating artists themselves, making the production a testimony to holistic artistic learning.
The event was graced by East Singhbhum Senior Superintendent of Police, Piyush Pandey, who attended as Chief Guest.
In his brief yet inspiring address, he applauded the young performers for their confidence and talent, and commended Ashwin and Camille Sahay for their outstanding artistic direction and dedication to nurturing children through the performing arts.
Also present on the occasion were Fr. Vinod Fernandes, Principal of Loyola School, and Vice-Principal Jayanti Sheshadri, who lauded the students’ hard work and the creative team’s vision in staging such a magnificent production.
The principal extended appreciation to the parents and the Loyola School community for their support in making the event a resounding success.
Supported by Loyola School, Naughty emerged as more than just a stage performance -it reflected teamwork, discipline, and the joy of artistic expression. Families from across the city witnessed a high-energy, heartwarming spectacle that celebrated the limitless imagination of children.
The ballet musical will also be presented again on Saturday evening at 5 pm, offering yet another opportunity for audiences to enjoy this enchanting production.
