
UditVani, Jamshedpur : The ballet musical “Naughty” lit up the Fasy Auditorium of Loyola School, Bistupur on Saturday evening as young performers infused Roald Dahl’s beloved Matilda with colour, rhythm, and theatrical brilliance.
A full house greeted the students with thunderous applause, as the production unfolded into a mesmerising fusion of dance, drama, and music -offering an unforgettable stage experience for families and arts enthusiasts alike.
Helmed by the exceptionally talented duo Ashwin and Camille Sahay -who directed, choreographed, coached, and produced the show -the production was visually elevated by Tanvi Shah’s evocative stage design. Together, they shaped Naughty into a radiant celebration of creativity, discipline, and youthful exuberance.
The performance reflected months of meticulous training, with students showcasing remarkable poise, precision, and expressive storytelling. From intricate choreography to vivid lighting and charismatic stage presence, every frame captured the essence of curiosity, courage, and the boundless imagination at the heart of Matilda.
A standout feature of the show was the student-created props and backdrops, each thoughtfully crafted -making the production a testament to holistic artistic learning and teamwork.
The event was graced by Fr. Vinod Fernandes, Principal of Loyola School, and Fr. Pius Fernandes, the institution’s former longest-serving principal.
Both lauded the students’ dedication and the creative team’s vision in bringing such an extraordinary performance to life.

The ballet musical was also performed earlier in the morning, drawing equal admiration from audiences.
