
UditVani, Jamshedpur : Several long-distance trains operating between Mumbai and Shalimar will remain cancelled on multiple dates in April owing to crucial infrastructure development work in the Nagpur Division of South East Central Railway.
The cancellations are part of a track conversion project to ballasted track at Gondia, aimed at strengthening rail infrastructure and ensuring safer operations.
As per the official communication issued by South Eastern Railway, Train No. 18030 Shalimar–LTT Mumbai Express will remain cancelled from April 4 to April 24, while Train No. 18029 LTT Mumbai–Shalimar Express will not operate from April 6 to April 26.
Further, Train No. 12101 LTT Mumbai–Shalimar Express will remain cancelled on April 4, April 6, April 7, April 10, April 11, April 13, April 14, April 17, April 18, April 20 and April 21.
In the return direction, Train No. 12102 Shalimar–LTT Mumbai Express will remain cancelled on April 6, April 8, April 9, April 12, April 13, April 15, April 16, April 19, April 20, April 22 and April 23.
Passengers have been advised to verify train schedules in advance and plan their journeys accordingly during the affected period.
