
UditVani, Jamshedpur : Loyola School, Telco, ushered in the new academic year with a special assembly on campus, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm, hope, and renewed commitment among students and staff.
The assembly was attended by Fr Michael T Raj, Rector, Principal Charanjeet, Fr. Vinod Fernandes, the newly appointed Academic Director of Loyola Schools from Loyola School, Bistupur, Fr. Oscar Horo, Vice Superior and Fr. Gerry D’Souza, along with the newly elevated Vice Principals—Reshma for the Senior Section and Zeenat Maria for the Junior Section.
Teachers and students were also present in large numbers. Welcoming the gathering, the Rector Fr Michael described the new academic year as the beginning of a fresh chapter filled with opportunities and possibilities.

He encouraged students to embrace learning, develop their talents, and move steadily towards their dreams.
Highlighting the broader purpose of education, he emphasized that it goes beyond textbooks and examinations, focusing on character formation, discipline, and values.
He urged students to remain curious, learn from mistakes, and not fear failures, as they are often the best teachers.
He also expressed deep appreciation for the dedication and commitment of the teachers, acknowledging their vital role in shaping young minds and inspiring future generations.

Though parents were not present, he extended gratitude for their continued trust and support, stressing the importance of strong collaboration between the school and families.
Adding a creative dimension to the assembly, students presented a short play conveying powerful life lessons.
The performance emphasized that mistakes do not define one’s future and highlighted the importance of discipline over excuses.
It encouraged students to take small, consistent steps towards success, focus on personal growth, and strive for continuous self-improvement.
The play also reinforced the values of respecting elders, teachers, and peers, and inspired students to face challenges with courage and self-belief.
The assembly concluded with a call for unity and collective effort, encouraging all to foster creativity, kindness, respect, and excellence, while working towards becoming confident, compassionate, and capable leaders of tomorrow.
