UditVani, Jamshedpur : The Scouts and Guides Unit of ‘Kerala Samajam Model School’, Golmuri, organized a community outreach visit to ‘Bhilaipahari’ on 27 February 2026, reflecting the institution’s continued commitment to social responsibility and humanitarian values. The programme was conducted under the able guidance of Principal Mrs. Nandini Shukla, along with Vice Principals Mrs. Rina Banerjee, Mrs. Sujata Singh, and Mr. A. L. Abraham, and Registrar Mrs. Vrinda Suresh.
A group of ten committed Scouts and Guides participated in the initiative, accompanied by Counsellor Mrs. Nishi Thakur and Guide Captains Mrs. Sudha Verma and Mrs. Anju Gopinath. During the visit, the students distributed clothes to underprivileged members of the local community. The activity aimed to instill in the young participants the values of service, empathy, and social responsibility.
The initiative not only provided much-needed assistance to the beneficiaries but also proved to be a meaningful learning experience for the students. It reinforced the core principles of the Scouts and Guides movement -service before self’ and compassion towards all.
