
UditVani, Jamshedpur: The Jharkhand State Billiards & Snooker Association (JSBSA) successfully conducted its annual State Ranking Billiards and Snooker Tournament at The United Club in Jamshedpur, from December 15 to 21.
The prestigious championship witnessed spirited competition with around 60 cueists participating from Jamshedpur, Ranchi and Hazaribagh across multiple categories.

Anish Parikh delivered a commanding performance, successfully defending both his Senior Billiards and Senior Snooker titles, retaining his crown from 2024.
The association extended best wishes to all medal winners who will represent Jharkhand at the National Billiards and Snooker Championships in Haryana in January 2026.
In a historic first for the state, Susma Gautam Khanal will represent Jharkhand in the Senior Women’s Snooker category at the Nationals, marking a significant milestone for women’s participation in cue sports in the state.
The championship reaffirmed Jharkhand’s growing stature in Indian cue sports and highlighted a promising pipeline of talent ready to shine on the national stage.
