UditVani, Jamshedpur: March 3 holds special significance for the citizens of Jamshedpur, as the city commemorates the birth anniversary of its founder, Jamsetji Tata.
The annual Founders’ Day celebration organised by Tata Steel brought together members of the community to pay tribute to the visionary industrialist whose ideas shaped the city’s foundation and growth.
Among the participants were students of J. H. Tarapore School, who joined the observance as part of the ceremonial programme.
Senior management officials, employees, and invited guests were present to mark the occasion and reflect on the founder’s enduring contributions to industry and society.
Several educational institutions were invited to take part in the celebration. The band of J. H. Tarapore School was assigned to escort designated departments during the procession.

The students carried out their role with discipline and coordination, contributing to the orderly and respectful conduct of the event.
A significant moment during the ceremony was the playing of the General Salute Tune as a tribute to Jamsetji Tata.
The solemn gesture served as a reminder of the values and vision that continue to guide the organisation and the city he envisioned.
The event concluded with a sense of collective remembrance, as citizens and participants alike honoured the legacy that remains closely connected to the identity of Jamshedpur.
