
UditVani, Jamshedpur: A tragic incident from the Mango area of the city has left a family devastated, after 26-year-old Rohit Shukla, also known as Chandan Shukla, lost his life in a road accident in Bengaluru.
According to reports, Rohit was working in the parking area outside Bengaluru Airport when the mishap occurred.
During his duty hours, he was struck by a vehicle, sustaining fatal injuries. The impact was so severe that he died on the spot.
Following the incident, the Karnataka Police promptly informed the bereaved family. Upon receiving the news, family members rushed to Bengaluru and are now returning to Jamshedpur with the mortal remains.
Rohit, a resident of Gurudwara Road in Mango, was the eldest son in his family. His father works as a tempo driver, and Rohit bore a significant share of the family’s financial responsibilities.
His untimely death has left the family in deep emotional and economic distress.
The news has cast a pall of gloom over the locality, with residents and acquaintances expressing heartfelt condolences.
Former BJP leader Vikas Singh also visited the bereaved family to offer support during this difficult time.
The body is expected to arrive in Jamshedpur today, after which the last rites will be performed.
