UditVani, Jamshedpur : An action-packed week of football unfolded in the Jamshedpur Super League (JSL) 2025-26 as matches across the Father’s Division, Mother’s Division, Under-11, Under-9, Under-5 and Under-15 categories were played at the JRD Tata Sports Complex and the Tata Football Academy on Sunday. Teams from across the city produced competitive performances, with several high-scoring games highlighting the growing depth of grassroots football in Jamshedpur.
In the Father’s Division at the JRD Sports Complex Archery Ground, Carmel Super Gaint began strongly with a 3–0 win over Winter Soldiers, while Loyola Legends also secured a convincing 3–0 victory against Kishore Sangh Kadma. Loyola Jaguars were held to a 1–1 draw by White’s U-10 ADV Dads, and Armoury Father’s played out a goalless draw with Green’s U-10 ADV Dads. Tinplate Tigers impressed with two victories during the day, defeating Man of Steel 3–0 and Winter Soldiers 3–0. Tinplate Lions registered a dominant 6–2 win over Wild Cats Dhatkidih before edging Biswajit Mani Mela 2–1 in another fixture. Kishore Sangh Kadma also bounced back strongly with a 6–3 win over Carmel Super Gaint.
The Mother’s Division witnessed equally spirited contests on the turf ground. Loyola Queens enjoyed a successful outing, defeating White’s U-10 ADV Moms 3–0 and later overcoming Red’s U-10 ADV Moms by the same scoreline. Armoury Super Moms (Blue) recorded two wins, beating Loyola Rebona 3–0 and Tinplate Queen 2–0. Green’s U-10 ADV Moms began with a 3–0 victory over Harley Queens and later defeated Loyola Rebona 2–0. Tinplate Angle secured a 3–0 win over Tinplate Queen before narrowly defeating White’s U-10 ADV Moms 1–0.
In the Under-11 category at the Tata Football Academy, several teams produced commanding performances.
JFC ADV U-10 (Blue) edged Snipper FC 3–2, while JFC ADV U-10 (White) produced the biggest win of the day with an emphatic 8–0 victory over JMFA Bright FC. Legends of Loyola defeated Gyan Ganga Patamda 3–0, while Biswajit Manimela FC registered a strong 4–1 win against Loyola 7 Star. JFC Furnace B dominated with a 6–0 victory over JFC Furnace C, and JFC Furnace C later defeated Loyola 7 Star 3–0. JFC Furnace D also impressed with a 5–0 win against Tinplate Dribble Demons.
The Under-15 fixtures at the Tata Football Academy also delivered notable results. Jamshedpur Strikers FC U-15 secured a 3–0 win over S.M Lucky, while Adityapur Community Center (Blue) defeated Gyan Ganga Patamda Blue 3–0. Park India overcame Telco FC (Blue) 3–0, and Armoury Kings defeated KPS School 2–0. JFC Turf Kings produced a dominant 4–0 win against Armoury Pheonix Platoon, while Kishore Sangh Kadma U-15 registered a strong 5–0 victory over Tata Power Alig U-15 (Blue). Dobo FC also ended the day with an impressive 6–1 win against LPS Loyola U-14.
The Jamshedpur Super League continues to serve as an important platform for players, parents and community teams to participate in organised football, strengthening the city’s grassroots ecosystem and nurturing the next generation of talent.
