Elaborate security and monitoring arrangements have been put in place to ensure the examinations are conducted smoothly, fairly and without malpractice.
JAC has completed all preparatory work in advance, including the timely delivery of question papers and examination materials to all districts.
Strict guidelines have been issued for the secure transportation of question papers from treasuries to examination centres, with district administrations and police authorities entrusted with the responsibility to prevent any lapses.
A total of 4,23,861 candidates are appearing in the Matric examination at 1,232 centres, while 3,24,321 students are taking the Intermediate examination at 757 centres.

According to JAC data, the number of candidates has declined this year compared to the previous session in both Matric and Intermediate examinations.

He urged candidates to reach their examination centres on time, carry their admit cards and refrain from paying attention to rumours.
