UditVani, Jamshedpur : Jamshedpur, long celebrated as the land of steel and talent, continues to gift the world with remarkable stars who break barriers and redefine success.
After global icons like Priyanka Chopra and Lara Dutta, National Award-winner Shweta Basu Prasad, versatile actor Rasika Dugal, and television favourites like Pratyusha Banerjee and Shruti Kanwar, another name has joined this illustrious league — Harpreet Jatail.
Born in the Steel City, Harpreet’s journey from Jamshedpur’s lanes to Mumbai’s big stage is a story of relentless dedication, versatility, and artistic brilliance.
In a short span, she has carved a niche across films, OTT platforms, commercials, and voice artistry, leaving critics and audiences alike spellbound.
Her breakthrough role in the film Deewar Ke Us Paar (2025) earned standing ovations at the Chennai International Film Festival, Jaipur International Film Festival, and Jagran Film Festival, marking her as a performer of depth and substance.
On the digital front, she has showcased her range with pivotal roles in Vikram Bhatt’s Sanak (MX Player, 2022), Disney+ Hotstar’s Aar Ya Paar (2023), and Jio Cinema’s Ranneeti (2024).
But Harpreet’s charisma isn’t confined to acting alone. She has become the face of prestigious brands like Lakmé, Ferrero Rocher, Lifebuoy, Honda, Kajaria Tiles, Nyle, and PhonePe, while her music videos such as Hello – Navratri Anthem 2024 and Khiladi struck a chord with the youth, enhancing her popularity.
A woman of many voices, Harpreet is also a sought-after dubbing artist, lending her voice to renowned actresses including Mouni Roy, Amy Jackson, Anupama Parameswaran, and Anushka Shetty.
She has also powered the voice of top advertising campaigns for Airtel, ICICI Bank, Godrej, and Maruti WagonR, further cementing her presence in the entertainment world.
From beauty to bold roles, from ads to acting, Harpreet Jatail’s journey embodies the Steel City spirit — resilient, radiant, and ready to shine. Much like Priyanka Chopra and Lara Dutta once carried Jamshedpur’s name onto global platforms, Harpreet now emerges as the new torchbearer, inspiring a generation that talent from small towns can truly illuminate the world stage.
Harpreet completed her Plus Two education from St. Mary’s English High School, Bistupur.
She later pursued her graduation in Journalism and Media (B.A.) from Indira School of Communication, Pune, followed by a Master’s degree (M.A.) from K.C. College, Mumbai.
She candidly admits that she still misses her hometown, Jamshedpur.
Her mother, Surinder Kaur, a teacher at St. Mary’s English High School, along with other family members, continues to reside there.
Her father, Inderjeet Singh—who was associated with the Tata Football Academy and was a football and cricket coach—passed away in 2015.
