UditVani, Jamshedpur : On the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras, GAIL (India) Limited, a Maharatna Company under the Government of India, has launched a special festive offer in Jamshedpur -free CNG worth up to ₹25,000 on the purchase of new CNG vehicles.
The announcement coincides with the recent reduction of CNG prices by ₹1.50 per kg and was unveiled at Maruti’s Bistupur showroom on the evening of Dhanteras.
Gaurishankar, General Manager and GA In-Charge, stated that the initiative aims to promote a cleaner environment and support India’s transition toward a gas-based economy.
Under the scheme, newly registered vehicles in East Singhbhum district will enjoy the following benefits:
Cars, taxis, buses, and vans: Free CNG worth ₹25,000 (approximately 5,000–7,000 km of usage).
Auto rickshaws: Free CNG worth ₹15,000 (approximately 5,000 km of usage).
Vehicle dealers will forward registration details to GAIL, ensuring eligible customers receive the benefits as per the scheme’s terms and conditions.
Extending festive greetings, Gaurishankar said, “This scheme covers all categories of new CNG vehicles — buses, taxis, autos, cars, and goods carriers. Celebrate Dhanteras and Diwali by purchasing a new CNG vehicle, contribute to environmental protection with GAIL’s clean CNG fuel, and support India’s vision of a gas-based economy.”
