
Jamshedpur: The police have cracked a theft case that took place in Azadnagar.
On Wednesday, police arrested four of them, including a minor, and sent them to jail. Those arrested include Raj Ansari, Mohammad Mahfooz, and Umar Shah Rukh, all residents of Kapali.
The police recovered silver anklets, silver rings, a gold nose pin, watches, and approximately Rs 3,650 in cash from the accused.
Providing details about the case, the station in-charge stated that under the leadership of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Patmada), Bachandev Kujur, a special raid team was formed. On the night of May 19, the team investigated a complaint filed by a woman named Farhat, a resident of Green Valley in Zakirnagar, regarding a theft at her home.
During the investigation, on May 27, police received information that some youths working in catering at Bagh-e-Aman were involved in the theft.
Acting on this tip-off, all four suspects were apprehended. They were presented in court on Wednesday and subsequently sent to judicial custody.
