UditVani, Jamshedpur : Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FJCCI) Vice President (Kolhan) Vijay Anand Moonka has written to Chief Minister Hemant Soren, urging immediate permanent appointments to several key administrative posts that have remained vacant in Jamshedpur for months.
Moonka stated that Jamshedpur, being an important industrial and urban centre, has been suffering due to prolonged vacancies in crucial positions, affecting governance, development work, and judicial functioning.
He highlighted that the post of Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO), Dhalbhum, has been vacant for nearly six months, with officials being given temporary charge from time to time. This, he said, has caused delays in administrative and judicial processes, causing inconvenience to the public.
Similarly, the post of Additional District Magistrate (ADM – Law and Order) in East Singhbhum has also been vacant for about six months, impacting law-and-order management and developmental activities.
Moonka stressed that the absence of permanent appointments to such important posts in a district like East Singhbhum is hindering Jamshedpur’s growth. He urged the Chief Minister to take immediate action and ensure prompt, permanent appointments in public and developmental interest.
