
UditVani, Jamshedpur : In view of the continuous heavy rainfall, East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi conducted an on-ground inspection of the flood-affected areas in Mango today, including low-lying zones, banks of the Subernarekha river, and other vulnerable locations.
The special officer of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee ( JNAC ) Krishna Kumar was also present during the inspection.
The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the drainage systems in the waterlogged areas and instructed concerned officials to ensure swift corrective measures. He directed that pump sets, tractors, and sanitation teams be kept on high alert and ready to tackle any emergency situations arising from water accumulation.
Key directives issued to civic officials included:
* Ensuring regular cleaning of all drains.
* Prompt resolution of waterlogging complaints.
* Alerting residents in riverbank and low-lying areas.
* Maintaining round-the-clock vigilance through a dedicated control room.
