
UditVani, Jamshedpur : The Central Sikh Stree Satsang Sabha, led by President Ravinder Kaur, Chairperson Kamaljeet Kaur, General Secretary Paramjit Kaur, along with heads of various units, felicitated Bhagwan Singh on being elected President of the Central Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (CGPC) for the second consecutive term of three years.
Expressing gratitude to the women of the Sikh community, Bhagwan Singh said that being entrusted with the responsibility for a second term increases his accountability even further. He announced that a 30-bed hospital will soon be inaugurated on the second floor of the CGPC complex, which will also include dialysis facilities for patients.
Dr. Rajendra Singh also extended his congratulations by presenting a bouquet to Bhagwan Singh. Several CGPC office-bearers, including Vice President Chanchal Singh, Ravinder Singh, General Secretary Amarjeet Singh, Gurucharan Singh Billa, Treasurer Gurnam Singh Bedi, and advisors Parvinder Singh Sohal, Sukhdev Singh Bittu, Surendra Singh Shinde, and Karnail Singh, were honoured with shawls on the occasion.
Chairperson Kamaljeet Kaur and General Secretary Paramjit Kaur expressed hope that the commendable work done over the past three years will continue. They assured that the Stree Satsang Sabha units will keep supporting the CGPC team under the leadership of President Bhagwan Singh.
Those present included Geeta Kaur, Arvinder Kaur, Charanjit Kaur, Jasveer Kaur, Baljinder Kaur, Sarvinder Kaur, Joginder Kaur, Manjeet Kaur and others.
The meeting was conducted by General Secretary Amarjeet Singh, while the vote of thanks was delivered by General Secretary Gurucharan Singh Billa.
