
UditVani, Jamshedpur : In a celebration of the city’s rich sporting legacy, the 75th edition of the prestigious Steel City Golf Tournament is set to tee off from January 16 to 18.
The tournament will be inaugurated by former Jharkhand CM and avid golfer Arjun Munda at the lush greens of Golmuri Golf Course, where he is also expected to showcase his own golfing prowess in this Platinum Jubilee edition.
The three-day tournament will witness the presence of several eminent personalities and senior officials, including D.B. Sundar Ramam, Captain of Jamshedpur Golf and Vice President – Corporate Services, Tata Steel ; Neeraj Kumar Sinha, Secretary of Jamshedpur Golf and Chief – Safety, Tata Steel ; and Alan Singh, CEO of Jamshedpur Golf, among others.
The event will unfold across the scenic 18-hole courses of Beldih Golf Course and Golmuri Golf Course, renowned for their challenging layouts and natural beauty, offering participants a competitive yet exhilarating platform.
Over 250 golfers from cities including Patna, Bhubaneswar, Paradip, Ranchi, Delhi, and Jamshedpur are expected to participate, alongside strong engagement from the local golfing community.
The tournament’s growing prestige in the national golfing calendar underscores its significance as a premier sporting event.
