
UditVani, Jamshedpur : Panic gripped Budhram Mohalla in Sonari, on Wednesday afternoon when a parked car near Hanuman Temple suddenly caught fire. Within minutes, the vehicle was engulfed in flames.
Eyewitnesses said that gas cylinders inside the car exploded one after another, intensifying the chaos and prompting residents to rush out of their homes.
Police and firefighters reached the scene promptly, bringing the fire under control and preventing it from spreading further.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported, but the car was completely destroyed. Initial investigations indicate a possible short circuit as the cause of the fire.
Residents have expressed relief at the quick response and emphasized caution while handling gas cylinders and parked vehicles.
