UditVani, Jamshedpur: The 45th edition of Maxi Fair, XLRI’s annual two-day survey of corporate brands and consumer behaviour to determine what clicks and what does not, kicked off on the XLRI Grounds today.
Five Marketing Research Game Stalls
Organised by the Marketing Association of XLRI (Maxi), the highlight of the fair was the five game stalls where corporate giants – Gillette, ITC Fiama, ICICI Bank, ITC Sunrise and Tata Tiscon leveraged the fair’s creative activities to gain valuable consumer insights.
To study the consumer behaviour on men’s razors one had to choose the likes and dislikes. The students manning the stall noted the consumers feedback through fun- filled games.
The idea was to help the American brand to customise its new launches as per the consumer feedback.
Notably, XLRI’s Maxi Fair happens to be an effective tool to get customer insights
solidifying the event’s reputation as a global model for innovation in marketing.
“The game helped us determine whether price of a product played an important factor while choosing a masala ,” said a second-year Business Management student at the game stall of ITC Sunrise.
ITC had acquired Sunrise Foods in the year 2020. ITC Sunrise stall had an objective to enhance brand awareness within specific target groups.
