UditVani, Jamshedpur : Tata Steel has announced large-scale organizational changes from 15th August to make its downstream business customer-friendly. Tata Steel Meramandali, to improve its efficiency and coordination, has redesigned the IL-2 position Chief, Iron Making to Chief, Iron and Steel. Amit Kumar Singh will be in this post and will report to VP Operations, Tata Steel Meramandali. Virendra Singh will be Chief, Coke Plant, Meramandali. Along with this, several posts have been merged.
The IL-2 posts Chief DRI and Chief Sinter Plant have been merged into Chief, Sinter Plant and DRI. Ramesh Kanan Mani will be in this post. Mayank Tiwari has been made Chief, Blast Furnace. The Chief, SMS post has been redesigned to Chief, SMS and LCP. Mahesh Babu will be in this post. Kapil Modi has been made Executive, Plant Head, Khopoli. Mukesh Kumar, Plant Head of Sahibabad, is going to retire on 1st November. Chief, CRM, TSM Chandraprakash has been designated as Chief, CRM and Tubes, Sahibabad.
