Jamshedpur : Tata Steel Sports Department hosted third edition of Jamshedpur Annual Horse Show on Saturday at Horse Riding School.
Around 11 horses participated out of which 9 horses were thoroughbred and 2 ponies were Janskari Pony Bread.
The aim of the show is to introduce children to competitive riding. Total 58 participants competed in six different events in their respective age categories who vied for total 48 medals.
The plan is to make this into an annual event and also use the Horse Riding School to encourage this exciting sport of equestrian in the Jamshedpur, especially in younger generation.
Show Jumping, Triple War, Hacks and Gymkhana events like poll bending race, Stick and Ball race, Ball and Buckets race etc were also oraganised during the show.
Notably, Jamshedpur Horse Riding School has been won total 3 medal in 2024 (1Gold 2 Silver medals) by Sub Junior and Junior Riders in Penta Grand held at Ghaziabad.
Two industries – JCAPCPL and JAMIPOL- were the main sponsors of the event and Zooluto Foundation sponsored the health drinks and snacks packs for all the participants.
