UditVani, Jamshedpur : Climbers from Tata Steel Adventure Foundation (TSAF) showcased an outstanding performance at the 28th National Sport Climbing Championship 2025, held in Bengaluru from January 18 to 21.
A team of 28 athletes—17 males and 11 females—competed and secured a total of 17 medals in bouldering, lead, and speed climbing events.
Kumar Gaurav, climbing coach of TSAF Sport Climbing Academy, was the coach of IMF East Zone and Roshni Bisht, Administrator of TSAF Sport Climbing Academy, was the manager of IMF East Zone.
Additionally, Disha Dangat, physiotherapist of TSAF Sport Climbing Academy, accompanied the team as one of the official.
Each medal won has points associated with it and the zone with maximum number of points wins the national trophy.
Total points of East Zone, represented by TSAF climbers, was 41 and therefore the East Zone was crowned as the national champions.
This is the 4th consecutive time our climbers have won the national championship.
Previously they won the title in 2019, 2022, 2023 and 2024.
