UditVani Jamshedpur : A three-day Rotary Youth Leadership Awards – RYLA ‘Pankh’- program- organised by Rotary Club kicked off at the Kerala Public School, Kadma on Friday.
The event started with lighting of the ceremonial lamp and welcome dance by the girl students of Kerala Public School with Sourav Roy, CEO, Tata Steel Foundation as the chief guest and MOC Rtn Amresh Singha as the keynote speaker.
KPS Director Sharad Chandran, rotarian Dr. Amit Mukherjee, RYLA director Anu Narang, Rtn. Pratim Banerjee, Rtn. Rajan Gangotra, President Rotary Club Jamshedpur Rtn Preeti Saini Rtn Anjani Nidhi, Rtn Animesh and Dhruv team and Gurpreet Singh were present.
Amresh , who was conducting the program, said that the program is organized especially for the youth where there is an opportunity to enjoy and learn something.
Sourav Roy, the chief guest, said that youth are the future of our country, hence if the youth have to move forward then they should have the attitude of a leader due to which they can touch the heights.
Amresh Singh said that, with the help of Rotary Club, they pledge to take the youth of Jharkhand and Bihar forward and give a message to the youth that they should carry the power of self-confidence within themselves.
KPS Director Sharad Chandran said, ” I am very fortunate that I got this moment to lead the youth and I give this message to the youth to actively participate in the Rotary Club.”
All the speakers present on stage worked to inculcate self-reliance and confidence in the youth and provided guidance to emerge as leaders.
In the next program, where Preeti Saini presented a show christened Happiness, in which all the children participated enthusiastically and they were told how one can convert each and every moment of life into a moment of happiness.
The three- day event will conclude tomorrow.
