UditVani, Jamshedpur: A review meeting was convened at the district collectorate today which was chaired by deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum Ananya Mittal.
In the meeting, the latest status of schemes sanctioned under CSR, MP, MLA Fund, DMFT and Technical Department were reviewed.
ADM Law and Order Aniket Sachan, Civil Surgeon Dr. Sahir Pal, Director NEP Santosh Garg, Incharge District Planning Officer Mrityunjay Kumar, Executive Engineer Road Division Deepak Sahay and other concerned departmental officers were present.
At the meeting a showcause was served to Executive Engineer NREP for skipping the meeting without prior permission.
While discussing the plans prepared for various development works in the meeting, the deputy commissioner took information about the work done so far in the district and directed to speed up all the ongoing schemes.
During the review, out of the total 79 schemes approved under District Plan Untied Fund in the financial year 2023-24, 69 were found complete and 10 were incomplete and out of the total 99 schemes for 2024-25, 35 were found complete and 64 incomplete.
The deputy Commissioner directed to provide the utility certificates of the completed projects as early as possible.
The DC said that if development work is pending due to negligence of the contractor, then action should be taken to blacklist it.
In the review meeting of the Technical Department, the works of Special Division, Road Division, Rural Works Department, Drinking Water Department, Minor Irrigation, Electricity Department, Building Construction, Building Construction Corporation were reviewed.
The deputy commissioner asked all officials to work in coordination with local public representatives,MPs and MLAs.
During the review, the deputy commissioner took information about the progress of the schemes implemented by all the technical departments and reviewed the pending schemes sequentially and gave necessary guidelines.
