UditVani Jamshedpur : Tata Steel Sports Department organised a successful Inter Divisional Handball tournament for Men organised during January 13-15.
Asim Kumar Chowdhury, Head Coke Plant graced the occasion as chief guest at the event held at the Handball Court.
The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from a total of 180 players from 16 units of Tata Steel.
In a display of exceptional skill and sportsmanship, the team from steel manufacturing emerged as the winners, showcasing their prowess and determination, whereas Shared Services bagged the runner’s -up position. West Bokaro emerged as the second runner’s up in the tournament.
Tata Steel’s commitment to promote sports and fostering a spirit of camaraderie among its workforce was evident throughout the tournament.
The sports event provided an excellent platform for employees to showcase their handball skills and foster a healthy competition.
