Jamshedpur : A team of Loyola alumni numbers visited Guidra Residence at XLRI Jamshedpur campus on the Christmas eve and met all the old father’s staying there.
The alumni members met Fr. Eric Cassel , ex -principal Loyola , Fr. Pattanayak ex principal n rector of Loyola , Fr Coelho, Fr Maxi and a few other old father’s.
It was the idea of Father Vinod Fernandes, the current principal of Loyola School and president of Loyola Alumni Association to visit these old father’s and spend sometime with them.
The team of Loyola alumni members comprised Rajiv Talwar – senior vice- president , Savak Patel – vice president , Pratim Banerjee – secretary , Iqbal Alam treasurer and others like Gaurav Rungta , Haren Rupani and Rahul Debuka.
They met and greeted the fathers and sang Christmas songs with them.
Today, the same team met at Loyola school and joined in the Christmas cheer alongwith father Vinod Fernandes , principal of Loyola School.
Fr. George Thana , Fr. K M Joseph ( rector ) and Fr. Pradeep Jose were also present at the Loyola School during the Christmas celebration.
