UditVani, Jamshedpur: Kerala Public School (KPS) Kadma inaugurated the LMAD (Let’s Make A Difference)- Jamshedpur Youth Conference, a three-day journey designed to ignite the spirit of purpose and growth among young minds.
The event, held on November 29, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM, brought together luminaries, educators, and students to embark on a path of self-discovery and collective empowerment.
Approximately 350 participants from 12 schools are taking part in the Youth Conference.
The LMAD Youth Conference is a transformative initiative aimed at inspiring young minds to lead meaningful and purpose-driven lives. It provides a platform for participants to introspect, connect, and grow both personally and collectively. Through engaging sessions, motivational activities, and interactive discussions, the conference fosters leadership, self-awareness, and a sense of community. By empowering youth to embrace change and take responsibility, LMAD seeks to create a generation of changemakers committed to making a positive impact on the world.
The event witnessed the presence of several distinguished personalities who added grandeur to the occasion. The Chief Guest, Viral Mazumdar, Chief Conductor of LMAD, was accompanied by Special Guests Bhanu Kale and Varsha Kale. Other notable attendees included Manav Kedia, General Secretary of the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce; Rtn. Dr. Amit Mukherjee from the Rotary Club of Jamshedpur; and LMAD Coordinators Rajiv Agarwal and Shraddha Agarwal. Representing Kerala Public Schools were Manorema Nair, Chairperson; Shanta Vaidyanathan, Founder Principal; Sharat Chandran, Director; Lakshmi R., Academic Director; and Alamelu Ravishankar, Headmistress of KPS Kadma. Their collective presence underscored the significance of the event and its transformative vision.
The ceremony began with the dignitaries lighting the ceremonial lamp, a symbol of knowledge and enlightenment. A soulful prayer song set a serene tone, followed by an elegant invocation dance by the students. This marked the start of a transformative experience for all attendees.

Sharat Chandran, Director of KPS Schools, shared an inspiring childhood memory tied to Viral Mazumdar, the Chief Guest and Chief Conductor of LMAD. He highlighted how the conference aims to help participants harness their potential and contribute meaningfully to society.
Following this, the LMAD team performed a motivational song that resonated with the theme of unity and change. Ms. Shraddha Agarwal, LMAD Coordinator, outlined the objectives of the program, which was further enriched by a video showcasing LMAD’s remarkable journey at KPS Kadma.

Addressing the gathering, Viral Mazumdar encouraged participants to embrace introspection and personal growth, emphasizing the life-changing potential of the conference. Chairperson Mrs. Manorema Nair delivered an empowering speech, underscoring the importance of purposeful living and daily reflection.
The unveiling of the LMAD brochure, celebrating 15 years of impactful work, was a proud moment for all, symbolizing the conference’s legacy of inspiring young leaders.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Aarshiya Khan, followed by the National Anthem. The attendees left with a renewed sense of purpose and determination to make a difference in their lives and communities.
