UditVani, Jamshedpur: The date for the ramp walk auditions in Jharkhand National Film Festival (JNFF) has been announced.
Interested candidates have been asked to go to Asma India’s office at Shere Punjab Chowk in Adityapur for auditions on November 30 and December 1.
On getting selected , the participants will get a chance to walk the ramp during the film festival scheduled on December 21.
The ramp walk will be based on the traditional costumes of Jharkhand.
Candidates upto 5 feet 3 inches tall and of all skin complexions can participate in the auditions.
Films showcasing the culture and art of Jharkhand will be screened at the festival.
Various competitions will also be organized during the festival, in which young filmmakers of Jharkhand will be able to showcase their talent.
The film festival was earlier scheduled to be organized on October 21 but due to the state assembly elections, it will now be organized on December 21 at the Tata Auditorium, XLRI campus.
Screening of films will take place at Srinath University from December 15 to 20.
Last year, Bollywood actress Mandakini and film producer Imtiaz Ali were present as chief guests at the film festival.
This year names of chief guests have not yet been announced.
